BALLET
Discover the joy of creative expression
through the world's most beautiful dance form. Our curriculum, based on the National Standards for Dance Education Guidlines,
provides structured ballet training while promoting poise, grace, balance, strength and confidence in a positive and enjoyable
environment. Students are grouped by age and experience.
POINTE
For the experienced ballet student,
Pointe is the advancement of ballet class to hard boxed pointe shoes. Our Pointe classes offer dancers the opportunity to
further explore the art of ballet. Girls are usually between the ages of 10 and 12 years old when they progress onto pointe
shoes. This depends greatly on the muscular and skeletal development, as well as their dedication to practice. Students
will continue to develop strength, balance, coordination and discipline.
LYRICAL
Lyrical is the balance,
control and technique of classical ballet combined with the principals of Modern/Jazz which creates free style movement interpreting
a story.
ACROBATICS
Acrobatics is the Art of slow controlled stunts using the flexibility of the back,
legs and shoulders. Gymnastics is the Sport of power tumbling executed with a straight back using strength and speed. In each
Acrobatics class a warm-up prepares every muscle and joint to perform both acrobatic and Gymnastics stunts. Our faculty has
been trained to spot all students. We will emphasize the importance of practicing correctly at home.

JAZZ
Jazz is America's true folk dance. Our
Jazz classes include body isolations, flexibility warm-ups, strengthening exercise, a progression of leaps, kicks and turns
across the floor and a combination of steps. Students will discover and refine their Jazz techniques to the beat of jazz,
pop and rock music.
TAP
Tap is the only form of dance which incorporates sound. Elementary steps and
basic rhythms are taught first, then more intricate patterns and fancier footwork are added in each class. Both traditional
and contemporary tap techniques are covered in our lesson plan. From Gene Kelly of yesterday to Savion Glover of today, tap
remains a driving force in the entertainment field.
